Expert Risk Management (m/f/d)

A day in a life of an Expert Risk Management in UNIQA Bulgaria

You will be:

• Participates in setting an appropriate framework and manages and coordinates the risk management process and internal control system in accordance with Group standards and local regulation
• Participates in preparation and maintains risk management strategies and other internal acts in risk management area, own risk and solvency assessment and internal control system
• Measures and manages risks at portfolio level in accordance with a risk management strategy, including identification, valuation and assessment of the most important risks and proposing risk mitigation measures for the most significant risks
• Participates in preparation, setting and monitoring of risk limits related to capital requirements
• Coordinates the calculation of regulatory capital requirements and the projection of regulatory capital requirements and steers capital adequacy of the Company
• Manages the process of calculation and validation of capital requirements for the needs of the Group's partial internal model for non-life underwriting risk
• Prepares reports in accordance with solvency requirements
• Participates in the process of conducting own risk and solvency assessment (ORSA) and prepares ORSA report
• Prepares risk reports for Management Board, Supervisory Board, Group, and regulatory bodies
• Provides support to other employees related to risk management and internal control system
• Monitors professional literature, legal and other relevant regulations and ensuring their implementation
• Establishes, executes, and maintains an effective system of internal controls in accordance with Company's acts
• Reports to the Management Board on all circumstances relevant for the work in area of responsibility and on cooperation with other organizational units of the Company
• Performs other tasks requested by line manager 

You have:

• Master’s degree, mathematics, economics or similar 
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in same or similar jobs
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office) 
• Proficiency in English
• Knowledge of financial statements
• Good knowledge of the risk management process
• Good knowledge of EU Solvency II directive and legislation regulating insurance business 
• Actuarial know – how is advantage
• Analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills
